William Jaydon Lennex, 4 weeks, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Riley Hospital for Children.

He was born November 5, 2025 in Indianapolis, IN to John W. Lennex and Amanda K. (Herron) Lennex.

William had a fighting spirit.  He fought as hard as he could for 27 days.  He did not want to give in even at the end.  Our feisty William will continue to watch over us.

He is survived by his parents; his sisters, Nicole Lennex and Sheridan Click; his brother, James Lennex; his sister, Jacklynn W.; his maternal grandparents, Daniel and Brenda Herron; his paternal grandparents, James and Carol Lennex; his aunts and uncles, Jamey and Dennis, Jessica and Mark and John; his maternal great-grandmother, Joyce Heidi; his maternal great grandmother, Carolyn Herron and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Nancy and Billy Huggins; his maternal great- grandfather, Lawrence Herron and paternal great-grandparents, John and Clara Lenox.

A Gathering of Friends will be Friday, December 12, 2025 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
