Timothy Keith Hirschauer

Timothy Keith Hirschauer, 63, of Shelbyville passed away Monday, July 19, 2021 at his residence.

  He was born April 14, 1958 in Shelbyville to Victor Hirschauer and Edna Lucille (Stader)  Hirschauer.

  Tim graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1977.

  He was employed as a custodian for the Courthouse, St. Joseph Catholic School, and Office Pride.

 Tim was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church where he enjoyed attending services. 

  He was an avid fan of NASCAR races, and heavy rescue semi-trucks.  He loved to watch the DIY channel on TV.

  His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

 He married Louella Jane Gearhart on July 28, 1979, and she survives.

  Tim is also survived by his daughter, Lisa Hirschauer-Barr of Shelbyville; his sons, Bruce Hirschauer of Shelbyville, Keith (Morgan) Hirschauer of Batesville; and Joseph (Cindy) Hirschauer of Greensburg; his sisters, Janet (Aaron) Thornbury of Shelbyville, Karen Stieneker of Shelbyville, and Bonnie (Charles) Oswald of London, his brother, Dennis (Julie) Hirschauer of Shelbyville, and 9 grandchildren.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers-in-law, John Stieneker and Steven Moss.

  Visitation will be from 4pm to 8 pm, Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

 Funeral services will be at 10:30 am, Friday, July 23, 2021 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Pastor Keith Dover and Pastor Dennis Hirschauer officiating.

  Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.

  Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Tim’s family.

  Memorial contributions may be given to National Kidney Foundation of Indiana, 911 E 86th St., Ste 100, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240 or to the Tim Hirschauer Funeral Fund in care of the funeral home.
