Salvador Estrada

Salvador Estrada, 56, of Shelbyville passed away, Friday September 17, 2021 at MHP Medical Center.

  He was born August 13, 1965 in La Barca, Jalisco, Mexico to Jesus Estrada and Maria (Gonzalez) Estrada.

 Salvador was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  He enjoyed working with wood and building different things for the church.  He enjoyed photography and filming.  Salvador was athletic and enjoyed playing sports.  Some of his favorite times were spent with his family and playing street ball with his son.

  He married Jassarette Nunez on July 8, 1994 and she survives.

  Salvador is also survived by his son, Birzavit Estrada, his daughters, Camila Estrada and Itzel Estrada; his sisters, Julieta Estrada, Rosalba Estrada, Elva Estrada, his brothers, Jose Estrada, Francisco Estrada, his sisters, Berta Estrada, Patricia Estrada and Maria DeJesus Estrada, and his brother, Guillermo Estrada.

  He was preceded in death by his parents.

  Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday, September 23, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 125 E. Broadway, Shelbyville.

  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 5 p.m. at the church with Father Mike Keucher officiating with burial following in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

  Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Salvador’s family.
