  Larry Joseph Gillespie "Joe", 76, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 at his current residence. Joe and his wife, Sherrie were longtime residents of Clermont, Fl and Anderson, IN.

  He was born September 2, 1944 in Anderson, IN to Edward Gillespie and Olive (Goodyear) Gillespie.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Sherrie L. Gillespie, his daughters, Lisa (husband, Rick) Wood of St. George, SC; Lori (husband, Jeff) Remington of Chesterfield; and Linda (husband, Tom) Milton of Greenwood; his son, David Gillespie of Anderson; his step-sons, Robert (wife, Kimberly) Trowbridge of Indianapolis; and Timothy Trowbridge of Acton; his sisters, Virginia (husband, Don) Gaultney of Anderson, and Margaret Mayles of Arizona; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers and 3 sisters.

 Joe retired from GM with over 25 years of service and from Disney World after 10 years of service all as an accomplished electrician.  He was a member and shop steward of Local 663 Guide of Anderson and IBEW local 606.

  He was an avid golfer and NASCAR fan.  He enjoyed wood working.  Joe was always willing to help others, and was a friend to many.  He was a beloved Father, Husband, and friend who will be dearly remembered and missed.
