Kathleen "Kathy" E. McFatridge, 70, of Rushville, passed away Monday, December 18, 2023 at Community North Hospital.

She was born August 3, 1953 in Kansas City, MO. to Julian Morton Riley and Irene Wernsing Stevens (Masters).

Kathy graduated from Parkway North in St. Louis and she attended University of Evansville and went on and got her bachelor's degree at I.U East. school of nursing.

She worked most of her career as a RN at Rush Memorial Hospital in the emergency room, as well as working at St. Francis Hospital.

Kathy was a Christian.  She was an avid Colts fan and loved sports.  Kathy loved to be on a golf course.  She was an avid animal lover and a friend of Bill W.

She married Dennis McFatridge on August 4, 1973 and he preceded her in death on May 29, 2023 and they spent 49 wonderful years together.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Jacque (husband, Matt) Ivancic; her brother, Michael (partner, Jennifer) Stevens; her sister, Maureen (husband, Tom) Powers; her niece and nephew, Jennifer Dorrington and Brendan Powers; her great-nieces and nephews, Vivian, Kendrick, Juliet, Joseph, Albert.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Visitation will be Monday, January 22, 2024 from 10 a.m. to noon at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at noon at the funeral home with Pastor Jose Rivera officiating.
