Katherine Hiner Obituary

  Katherine Lynne Hiner, 52, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at her residence.

  She was born March 10, 1968, in Rushville, IN to James L and Sue Anna (Issac) Grayson.

  She married Brady Dake Hiner on May 20, 2000, and he survives.

  Katherine is also survived by her son, Christopher Alan Grayson (Crystal) of Rushville; her son, Joshua Lee Motz of Greensburg; her daughter, Constance SueAnna Wade (Dawson Lau) of Killeen, TX; her sisters, Peggy Jane McCullah; Charlotle Anne Hunt (Tommy); Alice Faye Weaver; her brothers, Tony Lee Grayson (Kelly Jo); Frank Leslie Grayson; her grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Lexi Grayson, Rylan Grayson, Jase Grayson, Emery Grayson, and Merrick Grayson; her nieces and nephews, Donald McCullah, Shawn Weaver, Megan Weaver, Kaleb Grayson, and Daisy Grayson; and her beloved dog, Bella.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Dale McCullah; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Pamela Hiner; and her beloved dog, Snott.

 Katherine attended Rushville High School.  She was a member of Grace Wesleyan Church in Shelbyville.  She enjoyed crafts, which included making jewelry and wreaths.  She was employed as a CNA for many years and loved working with others and seeing them smile.  Katherine had a big heart and a spit fire attitude, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

  Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Grace Wesleyan Church, 56 E. Franklin Street, Shelbyville with Pastor Jose Riveria officiating.
