Jessica Hernandez

 Jessica Hernandez, 44, of Shelbyville passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at IU Health Methodist Hospital

  She was born May 30, 1977 in Indianapolis to Lawrence W. Strosnider and Deborah A. (Harman) Strosnider. 

 Jessica was a CNA.  As a child she was baptized into St. Vincent Catholic Church.  She loved to color and travel.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

  She is survived by her son, Joseph Fortney, daughter, Lacona Fortney, son, Brandon Catt, daughter, Katelynn Catt, grandchildren, Natalie, Emma, Achilles, Leia, Carter, Noah, Yoselin, Ayden, and Sophia, her brother Devin Strosnider, and sisters, Jolean Hernandez, Deidra Crafton, and Amy Crafton.

  She was preceded in death by her father, her grandparents, Barbara and Jack Lawrence, her aunt, Carolyn Bogeman, and Uncle, Thomas Bogeman.

   A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the Briley Center with Pastor Seth Taylor officiating.

  Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Jessica’s family.

  Memorial contributions may be given to the Jessica Hernandez memorial fund in care of Murphy-Parks Funeral Services.
