Obituary

 Jerry Clifford Popplewell, 47, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday May 9, 2022 at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana.

  He was born December 14, 1974 in Albany, Kentucky to Curtis Popplewell and Joyce (Warriner) Popplewell. 

 Jerry was employed as a Millwright with Local Union No. 1076. Fishing was a huge passion of his in his off time. Jerry’s granddaughter Ellie Mae was the joy of his life. The Indianapolis Colts was his team to watch otherwise he was enjoying a game of poker.

  Jerry is survived by his sons, Jordan-Michael Jerry (Kayla) Popplewell, Chandler Popplewell, and Korbyn Popplewell, his granddaughter Ellie Mae Popplewell, his sisters, Becki, Rhonda, Sherry, and Julia, his brother, Brad, cousins, Nicholas (Brittani) Stephens, Randy (Kathy) Stephens, his aunts, Linda Popplewell, Wanda Witham, Vertie Morton and uncle, Ralph Warriner Jr.

 He is preceded in death by his two grandsons, Karter Michael Clifford Popplewell, and Jordan-Michael Jerry Popplewell II, his parents Curtis and Joyce Popplewell, his fraternal grandparents, Cora and Larkin Popplewell and maternal grandparents, Ralph and Reba Warriner.

Funeral services are pending.
