Jason Corey Scott

 Jason Corey Scott, 32, of Waldron, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020 at his residence.

  He was born January 3, 1988 in Fort Stewart, GA to Jeffrey L. Scott and Mary C. (Phares) Scott ‘Chris’.

  He is survived by his parents, his brother, Michael (Sarah) Scott, maternal grandma, Janet Russell, paternal grandma, Patty Scott, maternal grandma, Sandra Phares, uncles, Pat (Debbie) Phares, Kenny (Tammy) Phares, Ronald (Lori) Phares, Donald Phares, Arthur (Tonya) Phares, Pat (Linda) Scott, and Matthew (Gina) Scott; aunts, Colette Mann, and Jenny (Wayne) Hampton, niece, Lilly Mann, several cousins, his girlfriend, Adlen Antle, his best friend, Ryan Crouch, and half-sister, Emily Kuhn.

  He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Phillip Wray Phares, his grandpa, Jerry L. Scott, and his uncle, Christopher Mann.

  Jason was a 2006 graduate of Shelbyville High School.  He attended First Christian Church.  He loved his dog, Charlie.  Jason enjoyed fishing and his garden.  He took a lot of pride in his job and loved to install windows.  His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.

  Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2020 at First Christian Church, 118 West Washington Street, Shelbyville, IN.

 Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, September 25, 2020 at the church with Reverend Beth Crouch officiating.

  Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
