James "Wesley" Corbin Sr.

James “Wesley” Corbin Sr., 65, of Greensburg, passed away Monday June 13, 2022.

   He was born December 21, 1956 in Greensburg, Indiana. 

  Wesley graduated from North Decatur High School in 1977.  He enjoyed fishing, farming and anything else he could do to be outdoors. He had a love for tractors and midget racing, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family and loved ones.

  He married Denise (Burton) Corbin on November 17, 1979 and she survives. They spent 42 wonderful years together.

  He is also survived by his daughter, Tressie Hess (Jeff), son, James Wesley Corbin, Jr., daughter, Crystal Corbin (Bobby), grandchildren, Javaiha Corbin, James Wesley Corbin III, Olivia Corbin, Shandala Ames, Taylor Corbin, Brooklyn Ames, Kurtis Corbin, great-grandchildren Baylee Corbin, Rylee Ames, Tyler Ronsheim, step-mom, Mary Corbin, and his siblings, Rose Corbin, Roger Corbin, and Margaret Corbin.    

 He was preceded in death by his father, James F. Corbin and his brother Jimmy.

  Visitation will be Monday June 20, 2022, from 10am until Noon at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN. 46176.

 Funeral services will follow at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Vice officiating.
