Imogene “Jean” Pribble, 90, of Fountaintown, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Morristown Manor.
She was born November 22, 1929 in Bloomfield, IN. to Howard Sparks and Ima (Hoke) Sparks.
She married Dallas Pribble on September 3, 1955 and he preceded her in death on November 22, 1992.
Mrs. Pribble is survived by her sons, Curtis (Janet) Pribble of Fairland; Gary (Sue) Pribble of Fountaintown; and Roy (Jill) Pribble of New Palestine; her daughter, Jackie (Brian) Shearer of Shelbyville; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dallas “Jack”, her daughter, Becky Howell, her grandson, Richard Pribble, one brother and 4 sisters.
She attended Arsenal High School. She worked at Sears for 40 years.
Mrs. Pribble attended Shelbyville Community Church. She enjoyed boating, camping and traveling. She was an avid mathematician. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Merry Popplewell officiating.
Burial will be in Fountaintown Cemetery.
