Obituary

Freddie A. Shepard, 72, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital.

He was born March 30, 1948, in Shelbyville, to Bert Kenneth Shepard and Freda Louise (Thomas) Shepard.

Freddie is survived by his brothers, Kenneth Anderson, Ronnie Shepard, Bobby (Debby) Shepard, and, Tom (Debbie) Shepard, his sisters, Lou Ann Miller, and Pamela Hodgetts, his nephew, Frank "Butch" (Chandra) Kikendall, his niece, Heather (Naseer) Bade, and several other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Roger, Frankie, and Terry Shepard, and his sisters, Nona Sue Shepard and Sarah Tucker.

He was employed for many years at Indiana Cash Drawer.

Freddie had a love for fishing and being outdoors.  He also enjoyed doing word search puzzles and scrapping metals.  His greatest pleasure was spending time with his family and close friends.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Brandon Sutton officiating.
