Obituary
Dustin Lee Sturgill, 38, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023 at his residence.
He was born June 20, 1984 in Shelbyville to Steven Lee Sturgill and Dreamla Kay (Eldridge) Sturgill.
Dustin attended Shelbyville High School. He was employed at Mark Concrete.
He was a member of Crossroad Community Church. He treasured the times he spent with his son, Steven, who was his life. He also enjoyed spending time with his family at the beach.
Dustin is survived by his parents, his son, Steven Walter Lee Sturgill; his brothers, Jason (wife, Tina) Sturgill, and Shawn Sturgill; his sister, Heather (husband, Joshua) Ailes; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, great-nieces, and his grandmother, Fern Hodson.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, grandmother, and 4 aunts.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m, Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Andy Lee officiating.
Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, Stuart Parks and Darin Schutt are honored to serve Dustin’s family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Dustin Sturgill funeral fund in care of the funeral home.
