David M. "Dave" Brown

 David M. “Dave” Brown, 68, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at Southpointe Health Care.

  He was born May 25, 1953 in Shelby County, IN to Curtis E. and Ester M. (Anderson) Brown.  

  He was employed as a plumber his whole adult life, before retiring in 1998

  He was involved in a Radio Club for Ham Radios and danced for 14 years at Crestwood Village where he began Country Dancing.  He was a fun, loving guy who always knew how to make you laugh by telling his jokes. In his younger years, Dave loved to go boating and participate in water sports.

  Dave is survived by his sister, Brenda Brown; brother, Thomas Brown; sister-in-law, Janet Brown; nephews, Travis Brown and Jordan Brown; great-nieces, Hayley Brown and Hannah Brown; and great-nephew, Carter Brown.  He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Timothy Brown.

  Visitation will be October 12, 2021 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

 Funeral services will follow at 12 PM at Murphy- Parks Funeral Service with Pastor Jerry Ridge officiating.

  Burial will be in Miller Cemetery.
