Obituary

Chyrl Ann Adams, 63, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023 at her residence.

She was born December 31,1959 in Hollywood, FL., to Robert Henderson and Shirley (Fox) Sturgis.

Chyrl was a baker and enjoyed working at her craft for many years.

Chyrl had a love for gardening and being outdoors.  She enjoyed crafting, especially when it came to making jewelry.  Chyrl had many friends, one being Bill W.  She had a strong bond with her cats and loved them dearly.

Chyrl is survived by her sons, Dennis Smith Jr., and Daniel Smith; 2 granddaughters; her sister, Lynda Henderson-Wasmund (husband, Ron); her brothers, Matthew Henderson, (wife, Melissa), and Noah Henderson (wife, Jessica), her step-mother, Carol Shoulders; and 3 nieces and 1 nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Kathy Harms, and her step-father, Billy Sturgis.

A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Dry Dock Club, 62 Third Street, Shelbyville, IN. 46176.

Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, Stuart Parks, and Darin Schutt are honored to serve Chyrl's family.
