Carolyn Arlene Hanneman, 86, of Fairland, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at her residence.

She was born May 19, 1934 in Shelbyville to William and Alberta Baxter.

On April 5, 1953 she married her husband of 67 years, William F. Hanneman and he survives.  Carolyn is also survived by her sons, Michael W. Hanneman of Shelbyville, and Randal S. Hanneman (spouse, Ronda), of Fairland, her grandchildren, Randal S. Hanneman, Jr., Derek W. Hanneman, Shelbi R. Hanneman, Christian J. Hanneman, Emily A. Hanneman, and Jacob M. Hanneman; her great-granddaughter, Elizabeth P. Hanneman; her brothers, Carol W. Baxter of Greenwood and Richard Baxter of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Jean Boaz.

Carolyn was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  She cherished the bonds she had with her family.  Her favorite times were spent caring for and making memories with her family and loved ones.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to Noon, Friday, March 26, 2021 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at Noon at the funeral home with Father Mike Keucher officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
