Betty A Denton

Betty A. Denton, 76, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021 at MHP Medical Center.

 She was born June 24, 1945 in Paoli, IN to Thomas Lucas and Geneva (Moffett) Lucas.

  Betty was a lifelong homemaker.  She was a former member of the American Legion, VFW and the local Eagles Lodge.  She enjoyed watching her soap operas.  She also enjoyed singing, dancing and coloring.  Betty was always cutting up with her family and loved all the times that they were able to be together.   She was loved by her family very much and will be greatly missed.

  Betty is survived by her daughter, Betsy Keel, her grandsons, Justin Denton (Kenzie); William Spooner (Brookelyn), and Bailey Spooner, her grandchildren,  Ariel Smith, Jesika Hogue, and Michael Hogue, her great-grandchildren, Bentley Denton, Ayden Denton, Knox Denton, Westyn Spooner, Oaklynn Spooner, Brayleigh Olinger, Andrew Smith, and Genesis Smith, her son-in-law, Charles Keel, her sister, Charlene Bills, her brother, James Lucas, her niece, Stacey Carrier (Ryan) and great-niece, Liberty Carrier.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, Bill Cowan, her infant son, her sister, Frances Love, and her daughter-in-law, Neina Marie Keel.

  Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Betty’s family.
