Anna Campbell Obituary

Anna J. Campbell, 86, of Shelbyville died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at St. Francis Hospital & Health Centers in Indianapolis.

Born March 18, 1924, in Decatur County, she was the daughter of Sherman O. and Frances (Hoffman) Gallentine. She was married to Paul Randolph on Feb. 7, 1942, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 18, 1983. She married Paul E. Campbell on June 16, 1984, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 15, 2001.

Survivors include son, Ronald (wife, Tina) Randolph Sr. of Kokomo; stepson, Charles (wife, Tina) Campbell of Littleton, Colo.; five grandchildren; and a special friend, Louise Freeze.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; a stepdaughter, Denise Campbell; and a sister.

Mrs. Campbell was a homemaker.

She was a member of New Life United Methodist Church and the Come Join Us Club there. She also was a member of the St. Joe Social Club; VFW Auxiliary No. 1587, where she was a past president; American Legion Auxiliary; and Women of the Moose.

She enjoyed traveling, dancing and making new friends.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jerry Crouse officiating.

Burial with graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memory Garden in Kokomo.
