William 'Bill' S Margison

William 'Bill' S. Margison, 72, of Edinburgh passed away Friday, November 17, 2023 at MHP Medical Center.

He was born June 2,1951 in Chicago Heights, IL to William Fred Margison and Elizabeth Nadina (Ellsworth) Mullin.

Bill was baptized and saved as a young man.  He was very handy and enjoyed doing small engine repair work and coon hunting.  He also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and working on his aquarium.  Once he got interested in something, he gave it his all.

Bill retired as a Union Laborer with Local 741.  Talking to his family daily was very important to him.  Bill was most happy when he was able to catch up and spend time with all of his family members.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly Carol (Snyder) Margison, his sons, William S. Margison, Jr., and Cory (wife, Danielle) Margison; his daughter, Jessica Margison; his grandchildren, Brooklynn Monroe, Molly Margison, Katelynn Monroe, Hunter Margison, Will Margison, and Jaylen Margison; his brother, Sam (wife, Jane) Margison, his sister, Sherry Camcho; his brother, John (wife, Brenda) Mullin; several nieces and nephews, and his cousin and best friend, Poncho Hernandez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Loretta Newberry.

Visitation will be from Noon to 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Andy Lee officiating.
