William 'Bill' Moss

William 'Bill' Moss, 81, passed away January 17, 2022. Bill lived in North Port, Florida, a former resident of Shelbyville.

He was born October 24, 1940 in Linton, IN. to Clifford and Lorena Moss.

He is survived by his wife, Truus, sons, Bryan, Joyce, Travis (Erica), grandchildren, Brittany Rooks, Tanner Moss, Mahra Moss, Reef Moss, Kai Moss, Zenn Moss, his sister, Sharrell Adkins, (Larry), his brothers, David Moss (Shannon), Alan Moss (Cindy), Bryan Moss (Tammie), 6 great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Bonnie Moss Oswald, (Chuck).

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Steven Moss.

Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving in Prum, Germany. He was fortunate enough to meet the love of his life in Maastricht The Netherlands, where they were married and began their journey in life having a great life together, having many happy times.

Bill worked at General Electric Wellman in Shelbyville for 43 years. He was a member and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council #822. He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus Vincent Bacquelin ASM 2693 of Shelbyville and a member of the America Legion Post 254 of North Port, Florida.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 125 E. Broadway, Shelbyville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m., at the church with Father Paul Landwerlen officiating.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with military rites conducted by local veteran organizations.

Funeral Directors Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Bill's family.

Memorial contributions in Bill's honor may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
