William "Bill" Kunkel

William J. "Bill" Kunkel, 92, of Shelbyville, died Saturday, August 17, 2013, at 8:46 p.m. at Heritage House Convalescent Center. He was a World War II veteran. He worked for the Indiana Highway Department. Then he retired from the Knightstown Street Department. He enjoyed fishing and smoking his favorite cigars. Survivors include son William J. (fiancee Tammy Stone) Kunkle, II of Knightstown, grandson William J. Kunkle, III and granddaughter Ketrina Kunkle. No public services will be held. Arrangements are made by Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St.
