William "Bub" Kessler

William W. "Bub" Kessler, 37, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, May 27, 2013, at his home. He was born Jan. 2, 1976, to Elmo B. Kessler and Patty J. (West) Kessler in Shelbyville. Survivors include his parents; twin daughters, Shelby Kessler and Kaley Kessler; daughter, Mya Kessler; son, Damian Kessler; sister, Jana M. (husband, John) Thurston; maternal grandmother, Syble M. West; nieces, Jordan Thurston and JoLeigh Thurston. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Henry West; and paternal grandparents, Harold and Isabelle Kessler. Mr. Kessler worked in the automotive industry as an auto body man for Phelps Auto Body Shop. Bub loved his children and babies dearly. They were his pride and joy. He enjoyed fishing, camping and grilling out. He loved reptiles, listening to Johnny Cash music and riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Friends may gather for visitation from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2013, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN 46176. A Celebration of Life will follow at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Stephens officiating.
