William J. Dolan

William Jim Dolan, 58, of Shelbyville died Thursday, April 10, 2008, at Major Hospital. Born Aug. 12, 1949, in Rushville, he was the son of John and Donna (Weddle) Dolan. Survivors include his parents of Waldron; son, Michael J. (wife, Stacey) Dolan of Greensburg; grandchildren, Jamie, Dustin, Michael and Harlan; niece, Dawn (Danner) Perkins; and cousins, Mary Helen Favors and Terry Wickliff, both of Shelbyville. He was preceded in death by his sister, Debra (Dolan) Woosley. Mr. Dolan was employed at IPC for 25 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. Mr. Dolan graduated from Waldron High School, where he ran track. He enjoyed fishing. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Prather officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, with military rites conducted by local veterans organizations.
