William Chris Wagner, 59, of Edinburgh, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026, at MHP.

He was born October 25, 1966, in Indianapolis, IN to Harry J. Wagner and Margaret Ann (Solomberg) and raised by Jim Solomberg.

Chris graduated from Southwestern Jr./Sr. High School with the Class of 1985. He was a grateful friend of Bill W. for many years. He was a follower of his savior. Chris attended Hopes Point Baptist Church. He graduated from Grace House Ministries discipleship program and became a house leader of the ministry. His abilities as a mechanic on all types of engines were impressive. Chris was a skilled wood craftsman when it came to woodworking. He was a collector of coins and clocks and spent many hours at flea markets looking for the right item.

He is survived by his daughter, Crystal Wheelock; son, Douglas Wagner; 6 grandchildren; companion, April McNicholas; brother, Jimmy Wagner and sister, Libby Mitchell.

A Graveside Service will be Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens and Crematory, 625 E. Progress Rd, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
