William T. "Bill" Woessner

August 3, 1935 — August 15, 2021

William T. 'Bill' Woessner, 86, of Shelbyville passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021 at MHP Medical Center.

He was born August 3, 1935 in Abington, PA to William C. Woessner and Ruth (Thorton) Woessner

He graduated in 1954 from Central High School in Germantown, PA.  Bill received an associate degree in business administration and accounting.

Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, where he was very active in Sunday school classes.

He was an insurance agent for many years.

Bill married Adriene (Gilliatte) Woessner on June 29, 2018, and she survives.

He is also survived by his daughters, Kristian Ector and Lynn Morris, several grandchildren, 6 step-children, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, August 20, 2021 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 3718 E. Blue Ridge Road, Shelbyville.

Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the church with Reverend Robb Barlow officiating.

He will be laid to rest in the Heroes of Honor and Glory section at Whispering Hope Memorial Park and Crematory.
