Virginia Young, 49, of Shelbyville, died Monday, July 9, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 21, 1963, in Shelbyville to Cecil Young and Anna (Brown) Tucker.
Survivors include her mother of Shelbyville; and several brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Ms. Young was a homemaker.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2012, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Fraley officiating. Burial will be in Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Virginia Young memorial fund in care of the funeral home.
