Troy “Johnny” A. Collins

Troy "Johnny" Allen Collins, 77, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, July, 19, 2023 at MHP Medical Center.

He was born October 21, 1945 in Jenkins, KY. to Rollie Collins and Pearl Rose (Turner) Collins.

Johnny was employed at Ford before retiring.

He was a member of Victory Fellowship Church of God.

Johnny loved spending time with his family and sitting on the porch enjoying the outdoors.  One of his favorite past times was watching western and wrestling movies.

He married Gloria Jane (Powers) Collins on May 18 1963 and she survives.

Johnny is also survived by daughter, Marlene Mohr; grandchildren, Stacia Winkler,  Colt (wife, Emily) Mullins, Britta (husband, Nick) Pierce, Chrissi (husband, Josh) Ronan, Tiffany (husband, Luke) Walker, Olivia Collins; several great-grandchilden; sisters, Betty Thomson, Bobbi Collins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, John F Collins; granddaughter, Candice Gilles; brothers, Rollie Jr. Collins, Billie Collins, Jimmie Collins; sisters, Amanda Collins, Nancy Collins.

Visitation will be Monday July 24, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Miller Cemetery at a later date.
