Tina Marie Alexander, 59, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, Dec. 17, 2021.

She was born on Jan. 3, 1962, in Chicago to Dixie Whitehead and Bill Miller.

Tina is survived by her children, Lindsay Mills (Kevin Smith), Courtney Perry (Ty Perry) and Kris Mills; grandchildren, Bryce and Nox; sisters, Dodie Schmitt, Mitzie Browning and Lisa Mascolo.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dixie Whitehead; stepfather, Leon Whitehead; and father, Bill Miller.

Tina was caring, hardworking and had an infectious laugh. She was a hairdresser for many years, loved Christmas music (even in November) and always made birthday celebrations special.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion in Shelbyville on Sunday, Dec. 26, from 1-3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Salvation Army of Shelbyville. Tina loved helping people, and there is no better place to do so than the Salvation Army. Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Tina's family.
