Timothy J Walton

Timothy J. Walton, 49, of Shelbyville died Friday, Nov. 28, 2008. Born June 4, 1959, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Denzil and Martha Ann (Rhodes) Walton, Sr. He married Edith "Edie" Gearhart on Oct. 11, 2003, and she survives. Other survivors include his mother of Shelbyville; sons, Shawn Michael Walton of Rushville and Jack Daniel Gearhart of Shelbyville; brothres, Denzil Walton, Jr. and Tom Walton, both of Shelbyville; sisters, Jane Jones of Florida, Linda Stephens, Susan Decker and Mary McDonald, all of Shelbyville, and Teresa Patrick of New Castle. He was preceded in death by his father. Mr. Walton had been employed at Brazeway Indiana, Inc. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Keith Dover officiating. Burial will be in St. Vincent Cemetery in Shelby County.
