Thomas H. Strader, 72, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, April 3, 2020 at MHP Medical Center.

He was born May 23, 1947 in Indianapolis to Thomas and Marian (Kyle) Strader.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Russell), son Steven (Violet Williams), daughter, Holly (Daniel Gregg), 3 sisters, 5 brothers and several beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel E. Williams, Jr, mother, Marian Ruth Strader, father, Thomas H.O. Strader, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

Tom collected knives and was a huge John Wayne western fan.  He spent his time with his family and loved to go fishing.

In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Tom's memory may be made to either, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Riley Children's Hospital or the American Diabetes Association.

Visitation will be from Noon to 1 p.m., Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN.

Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with Reverend George Seats and Pastor Edwin Mohr officiating.

Inurnment will be in Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens and Crematory.
