Dr. Thomas Price, formerly of Shelbyville, died Dec. 14, 2008 at Pontcharain Health Care Center, Mandeville, LA. Born January 20, 1928 in Shelbyville, he was the son of Dr. Clarence John & Bernadine (Henry) Price. Survivors include his wife, Bernadine (Lemoine) Price; son, Terrance Price, Mandeville, LA; daughters, Debbie Hermann Price, Covington, LA, Mary Alice Hambers, Sitka, Alaska, Tina Price, Mandeville, LA; brother John Price, Smithville, IN; sister, Cindy Hamberg, Cincinnati, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Patrick Price and sister, Josephine Ellen Price. Dr. Price was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Visitation will be Monday, December 22, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison. Funeral services will Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Chris Craig officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
