Terri Chappelow, 64, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday June 4, 2018 at her residence.

She was born March 26, 1954 in Shelbyville to Paul E. Elkins and Clarine (Turner) Elkins.  She married John Chappelow on October 31, 1992 and he preceded her in death on October 24, 2003.

She is survived by her daughter Tonya (Arthur) Phares, Nashville; close friend, Heather (Richard) Hyatt, Shelbyville; 2 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Short and Austin Short.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Debbie Caine.

Terri was a loving mother and grandmother,  She enjoyed gardening and loved her dog, Pugsley

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Van Pelt Cemetery with Ronnie Caine officiating.
