Steven Wayne Densmore, 65, of Fairland, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at his residence.

He was born July 30, 1956 in Indianapolis to Floyd William Densmore and Mary Anice (Blair) Densmore.

Steve was a tree trimmer until his disability in 2010.  He enjoyed riding four wheelers and other off road vehicles.  He also enjoyed repairing lawn mowers and cars.  Steve was very giving and always willing to share his belongings.

Steve is survived by his mother, his life partner, Linda Gumm, his sisters, Debbie Densmore Gilles, and Teresa Densmore Carpenter, several nieces and nephews, and his furry companions, Red, Butchy, and Buck.

He was preceded in death by his father, his niece, Chrissy Gilles, and great-nephew, Mason Gilles.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, December 13, 2021 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN.

Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Andy Lee officiating.

Burial will follow in Blue Ridge cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shelby County Cancer Association, 31 Public Square, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Steve's family.
