Stacy L. (Marks) Marks

Stacy L. Marks, 37, of Indianapolis, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis. She was born Aug. 15, 1975, in Shelbyville to Richard A. Marks and Marchelle R. (Burns) Marks of Indianapolis. Other survivors include uncles, Dan (wife, Judy) Allender of Manilla and David (wife, Sherry Marks) of Shelbyville; aunts, Diane Marks, Elizabeth Wingo and Kay Schoefner, all of Shelbyville, and Monty (husband, Earl) Colson of Greensburg. Stacy graduated from Franklin Central High School in 1993. She attended Ball State University for one year then transferred to Franklin College, where she received a degree in microbiology. She went to work for Roche Pharmaceuticals in Indianapolis. She was an avid traveler with "the girls" from Franklin College. She attended Southport Christian Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service and Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sydney Cemetery in Hope. Online condolences may be made at www.murphyparks.com .
