Shirley Joann Martin, 88, of Shelbyville passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023 at her residence in Wesley Chapel, Fl.

She was born February 21, 1935 in Rushville to Camden Konkle and Lois Maxine (Holden) Konkle.

She delivered the newspaper daily on a motor route for many years.

Shirley is survived by her children, Roxann Kolosi, Rebecca Falk both of Florida, Jackie Alexander of Fairland, Lois Vaughn, Ronnie Martin, Allen "Boo" Martin, and Patrick Martin all of Shelbyville, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. (Jimmy) Martin.

Shirley was a devoted mother and grandmother.  She had a great sense of humor and was a great friend to many people.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Miller Cemetery.
