Shirley Higdon, 68, of Edinburgh, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at her residence.

She was born November 6, 1949 in Franklin, IN to Charles and Elizabeth Bradley. She married Joseph L. Higdon on July 21, 1972, and he survives.

Other survivors include her daughters, Michelle McFarland, Shelbyville, Brandi (Tim) Matlock, Greenwood, Misty (Tim) Staker, Shelbyville; son, Bradley Higdon, Edinburgh; sister, Charlotte (James C.) Higdon, Shelbyville; brother, James "Jimmy" (Dana) Bradley, Shelbyville; 6 grandchildren; and several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles "Bobby" Bradley

Mrs. Higdon was a homemaker.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandkids.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to Noon, Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville

Funeral services will follow at Noon at the funeral home with Reverend Robert Simpson officiating.

Burial will be at Miller Cemetery.
