Sherry Cunningham

Sherry Cunningham, 68, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at Franciscan Health Indianapolis.

She was born February 10, 1951 in Shelbyville to Thomas Barton and Patricia (Theobald) Barton.

She was married to Mark G. Cunningham on January 15, 1983 and he preceded her in death on August 18, 1996.

Sherry is survived by her daughters, Ashley (Ethan) New of Indianapolis and Tonia (Paul) Cunninghan of Austin TX., grandchildren Bryan, Brennan and Brant Bunpus, Landon and Brooklyn New, her brother, Terry Barton of Bargersville, her sisters, Cathy Barton of CA, Debra Noel of Shelbyville, and Linda Adkins of CA, 1 step brother, 2 step-sisters, 2 half-brothers, 4 half-sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 2 step-brothers.

She was a homemaker.  Taking care of her family was her greatest joy.

Sherry was a member of First Christian Church.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Bill Horner officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
