Shelley Elizabeth Kessler, 46, of Shelbyville passed away Friday, June 19, 2026.

She was born February 10, 1980, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Donald Roberts and Peggy Pierce.

Shelley graduated from Shelbyville High School with the Class of 1998. She worked at Pilkington and had been promoted to Cell Lead due to her dedication and work ethic. She was known as a hard worker but also enjoyed relaxing and spending time with her friends. She cherished the memories she made with friends and attending concerts. Ultimately, some of her favorite times were spent being a grandma and spoiling Waylon.

Shelley is survived by her mother, her son, Kylan Callahan, daughter, Sawyer Callahan, grandson, Waylon Neel, brothers, Don (wife, Jessica) Pierce and Donnie (wife, Tiffany) Burkhart, sister, Theresa (husband, Chris) Handley, and her special sisters, Deidre West, Crystal Nicholson, and Melissa Rauch, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to Noon, Monday, June 29, 2026, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at Noon at the funeral home with Reverend Bill Horner officiating.

Burial will be in Miller Cemetery.
