Sharon Kay Scroghins, 68 of Shelbyville, Indiana passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Born Saturday, February 21, 1948 in Shelbyville, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Ira Fletcher and the late Margarite Harlow  Fletcher.

Surviving are daughter, Sherri (Billy) Morning of Shelbyville, sons, Jeff Simmonds of Shelbyville, IN and Jack Scroghins of Shelbyville, IN, ex-husband, Harold Simmonds of Shelbyville, grandson, Dakota Simmonds of Shelbyville, and her dog, Sammy.

She was preceded in death by her parents,  ex-husband, Jack Scroghins and brother, Walter Fletcher,

Mrs. Scroghins was a homemaker.  She enjoyed cooking, reading and arts and crafts.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN.

A Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with  Reverend Harvey Weaver officiating.

Burial will be in Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens and Crematory, Shelbyville, IN.
