Sandra Sue Whittle

Sandra Sue Whittle, 68, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015, at her daughter's home in Shelbyville.
She was born July 25, 1946, to Carl Whittle and Mary D. (Kean) Whittle.
Survivors include daughter, April Edwards and husband, Christopher, of Shelbyville; three grandsons, Aaron Stangle, Nathan Stangle and Noah Edwards; great-grandson, Sedrick Stangle; sister, Judy Whittle of Shelbyville; brother, Jim Whittle of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Don Whittle; and sisters, Lila Goodin and Anita Sturgill.
Ms. Whittle attended Southwestern High School.
She worked at Shares and was in production.
Ms. Whittle was a member of First Baptist Church, where she served as deacon.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2014, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015, at the funeral home, with Pastor David Love officiating.
Burial will be at Miller Cemetery in Shelby County.
Memorial contributions may be given to First Baptist Church, 27 W. Broadway St., Shelbyville, IN 46176.
Funeral Directors Greg A. Parks, Sheila J. Parks and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Ms. Whittle.
