Sandra L. "Sandy" Davis

Sandra L. Davis "Sandy", 71, of Waldron passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Waldron Health and Rehab.

She was born September 18, 1949 in Shelbyville to Theodore Harley and Helen Faye (Dunham) Harley.

Sandy married Mark A. Davis on December 5, 1970 and he survives.  They cherished 50 years of marriage together.

Sandy is also survived by her daughter, Kim Moore (Brian); her son, Brad Davis (Stephanie); her daughter, Kristan Kuhn (Chad); her grandchildren, Matthew Moore, Amanda Moore, Evan Bell, Jacob Kuhn, and Nicholas Kuhn; her brothers, Mike Harley (Jane); Noble Harley, and Tim Harley, and her sister, Pam Isley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister-in-law, Terri Harley.

Sandy graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1967.

She was a retail manager at Crystal Flash for many years before moving on to a secretary position for Pope's LP Gas in Waldron.  Sandy had an amazing spirit of giving and helping anyone at anytime with all she had.  She found great joy in entertaining and bringing family and friends together, especially on holidays and special occasions.  She enjoyed building puzzles, cooking, shopping and gardening. However, she most importantly enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and being the heart of her family.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m, Monday, September 20, 2021 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the funeral home with Dr. Robb Barlow officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
