Sandra Kaye Meece

Sandra Kaye Meece, 60, of Shelbyville died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at her home. Born Dec. 27, 1947, in Somerset, Ky., she was the daughter of Dewey and Norma Jean (Houston) Weddle. She married Gary Meece on Feb. 10, 1979, and he survives. Other survivors include her son, Mark Allen Meece of Fortville; sister, Sherry White of Shelbyville; brothers, Terry Corley, Donald Corley and Ronald Corley, all of Shelbyville, and Kevin Corley of Indianapolis; aunts, Mary Spears and Anna Allman, both of Jamestown, and Helen Phelps of Indianapolis; and granddaughter, Kayleen Meece of Fortville. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Meece was formerly employed at Continental Kitchen. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery in Shelby County.
