Sandra "Sandy" Fair, 71, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023 at her residence.
She was born July 31, 1952 in Shelbyville, IN. to Woodrow Dile and Maudie (Harrison) Dile.
Sandy was a member and Co. Founder of Shelbyville Community Church also known as SCC.
She lived her entire life in Shelbyville, IN. Sandy was a barber/stylist and owner of A Cut Above Hairstyles for 40 years.
Sandy married Paul Fair on August 04, 1972 and he survives. They spent 51 wonderful years together and he was the love of her life.
Some of her greatest joys came from spending time with her family and making beautiful memories. Sandy's grandchildren was her pride and joy. She also enjoyed playing the piano, crocheting, sewing, drawing and decorating.
Sandy is also survived by her husband, Paul Fair; daughters, Melissa Stewart, Michelle (husband, John) Fuel; step-daughter, Amy (husband, David) Platt; brothers, Woodie (wife, Linda) Dile, Jim (wife, Arlene) Dile; sisters, JoAnn McNutt, Judy (husband, John) Mikels; grandchildren, Isabelle, Landon, Mason, Brad, Kristen, Rachel, Katheryne; great-grandchildren, Caden, Harrison, Evelyn, and her special dog, "Shelby" and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by son-in-law, David Muth and James Alexander Stewart; step-daughter, Debbie Duesenbury.
Visitation will be Friday, October 20, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at funeral home with Rev. Pastor James Thurman officiating.
Burial will be in Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens.
Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, Stuart Parks, and Darin Schutt are honored to serve Sandy's family.
