Ruth Ann Ingram's Obituary

Ruth Ann Ingram, 71, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis.

Born June 2, 1944, in Darlington, she was the daughter of the late Roy Ingram and the late Mildred Hyten Ingram.

Surviving are brothers: John Ingram and wife, DeAnca, of Quinlan, Texas; and David Ingram and wife, Becky; sister, Carol Whittaker and husband, Frank, of Crawfordsville; nieces and nephews, Tony Herron, Tim Herron, John Allan Kiger, Debbie Griffin, Shannon Ingram, Dude Ingram, Anna Ingram, Jarrod Ingram, Joshua Hunter Champion, Tina Herron and Kim Carter; and good friends, Mary Hauk and Terri Cover.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margie Herron; brother, Eugene Ingram; and beloved dog, Sheba.

Ruthie was a member of First Christian Church.

She formerly worked at Massey Ferguson in Iowa and at the Shelbyville Walmart.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2016, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St.

Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Horner officiating.

Interment will be at Miller Cemetery in Shelbyville.

Funeral Directors Greg A. Parks, Sheila J. Parks and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Ms. Ingram.
