Russell Allan Blocher 69 years old of Indidanapolis Indiana passed away at St. Francis Hospital on May 23, 2016. Russell was born on June 22, 1946 in Indianapolis Indiana. Russell was the son of Arthur H. Blocher and Betty J. (McMurray) Blocher. Russell married Wanda K (Ginn) Blocher on June 5, 1969 and she survives. Russell is survived by his Daughter Kathy Blocher of Shelbyville, Indiana, Sons: Brent Blocher of Shelbyville Indiana and Thomas Blocher of Waldron Indiana. Russell has 7 grandchildren 1 great grandchild and 1 great grandchild who is due to be born in January. Brother Johnny Blocher of Arizona, Step Brothers: Joe Coffey of Shelbyville Indiana and Larry Coffey of Shelbyville Indiana. Step Sisters Sara, Sharon and Sondra . Russel was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Bill Blocher. Russel spent a short time in the military before starting a career with KCL Corp where he retired from after 39 years. Russell was a track star at Southwestern where he graduated in 1965. Russell enjoyed sports, filling out basketball tournament brackets and spending time with his grandchildren.
