Roxanna L. Burris, 51, of Waldron died Tuesday, July 8, 2008. She was the daughter of James L. Powers and Barbara (Lewis) Borell. She married Stephen R. Burris on Feb. 5, 1994, and he survives. Other survivors include her daughter, Dawn M. Stone of Indianapolis; son, Dustin M. Gettle of Bargersville; grandchildren, James M. Stone and Jaxen T. Parsons; grandmother, Rose G McDonald of Naples, FL; aunt, Dottie Lewis of Naples; stepsister, Kathy C. Jacobs of Waldron. She was preceded in death by her mother, one sister and two brothers. Mrs. Burris was employed at Caterpillar in Franklin. She enjoyed reading, writing, poetry, woodworking and painting. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Second Memorial Baptist Church, 400 W. Madison in Franklin, IN. Arrangement have been entrusted to Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St.
