Rosemary Scott

Rosemary Scott, 94, formerly of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Friendship Health & Rehab in Louisville, KY.

She was born January 1, 1925, in Shelbyville, to Claude and Esther (Pile) Sanders.

She married Charles Eugene Scott on April 4, 1943 and he preceded her in death on September 13, 1972.  She married Harold W. Scott May of 1976 and he preceded her in death in 1994.

Mrs. Scott is survived by her son Randy and Lynn (Geoffrion) Scott of LaGrange, KY, granddaughters Charity (Scott) Powell, and Nichole (Scott-Villarreal), grandson, Joshua Scott and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouses, daughters, Diana Rae Scott and Linda Lu Scott, 1 brother and 1 sister.

Mrs. Scott was a member of Hope's Point Church.  She was a homemaker. In her younger years, she enjoyed fishing, camping, and crocheting.  She received great pleasure working in her garden.

Visitation will be from Noon to 2 p.m., Friday, August 2, 2019 at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Edwin Mohr officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
