Ronald Stuart Reneau, 68, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2026, at IU Health Methodist Hospital.

He was born June 22, 1957, in Shelbyville, IN to Gene Reneau and Dorothy (Davidson) Glover.

He was a dedicated employee of Knauf for 42 years. He was an avid drag racing specter, along with building dragsters. Ron was a gifted Chef when it came to grilling on his grill. His family always enjoyed the flavor of his fixings. He was always waiting for the next family activity which brought him great joy when family was around. Ron was always ready to travel when that time came.

He is survived by his better half, Tammy Polston of 13 loving years; sons, Jeremy (wife, Jeri) Reneau and Brian (wife, Anna) Reneau; brother, Russell Reneau; sister, Jennifer (husband, Alan) Raisor; grandchildren, Jayla Reneau, Nia Reneau, Maddox Reneau and Lillian Reneau.

He was preceded in death by parents and sister, Amy Kingery.

Family will announce when the Celebration of Life service will take place in the near future.
