Rodney D Craig

Rodney D. Craig, 47, of Lenanon, TN, former Shelbyville resident, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013.

He was born March 25, 1966, to Dr. Eugene Craig and Sharon (Billingsley) Craig in Shelbyville.

Survivors include daughter, Chelsea Craig of Winchester; son, Gavin Craig of Winchester; sisters, Juli Craig-Myers of TX, Marybeth Bott of TN, Anne Craig and Ellen Skillman, both of Indianapolis; and brother, Joey Crain of Shelbyville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Malcomb Craig.

Rodney was a U.S. Marine veteran.

He will forever be remembered as a loving father, brother, and friend.  His infectious humor and wittiness will always be cherished in the minds of those he leaves behind.  Rodney's children and family were the joy of his life and filled his heart with love.

He enjoyed rebuilding high-performance engines.  Rodney's favorite pastime was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, especially on the open roads.  Rodney loved to go scuba diving.

Friends may gather from 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville.

A Celebration of Life will follow at 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Robert Prather officiating.

Funeral directors Greg A. Parks, Sheila J. Parks, and Stuart H. Parks are honored to conduct the services for Mr. Craig.
