Robert Borel

Robert Borel, 85 of Shelbyville, IN passed away on Thursday, January 05, 2017, at Major Hospital in Shelbyville, IN.
Born January 15, 1931 in Chicago, IL. He was the son of John Borel and Pauline (Schubert) Borel and they preceded him in death.
Robert is survived by Daughter Anne Parrot, husband John, of Fort Wayne. Sons: James Borel, Fort Wayne, David Borel, North Carolina, and Robert Borel, Fort Wayne, five Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren.
Mr. Borel was a member of the American Legion Post 70, as well as the VFW.
He enjoyed watching football, especially when the Chicago Bears were playing. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
A private burial will be at a later date in Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens and Crematory in Shelbyville IN .
Funeral Directors Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to conduct the services for Mr. Borel.
